| Minestrone Soup (Ruth Danner) Minestroni |
| 1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped 2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce 2 1/2 cups water 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 cup sliced carrots 1 16 oz. can lima beans with liquid 1/2 cup uncooked macaroni 1/4 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. parsley |
| In a soup pot, brown beef and onion. Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil. Then lower heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes |
